Liz’s writing style draws us effortlessly into the life of the Tunstall family in Barrow spanning the period of the two world wars. A life which was no doubt mirrored across the nation at that time. The reader feels immediately drawn into those lives with their ups and downs, joys and sorrows. A fascinating read.
