Season’s Greetings

Dear Friends and Readers,

I’ve been a very bad girl this year, and shouldn’t be surprised at all if I end up on Santa’s Naughty List!

I’ve neglected you all terribly, not kept this site up to date, or kept you informed about what’s been going on in my life. Needless to say, top of the list of my New Year Resolutions for 2024 will be to remedy this lack of information and get back in the saddle of writing regular blogs again – probably not weekly, as that really does take a lot of time, but certainly monthly.

I have no real excuses for my neglect, except to say that I’ve been through a fairly difficult year, which started with a family bereavement, closely followed by my contracting Covid-19. After recovering, there was nothing really bad, just a bit of my depression returned in the middle of the year, and I had been fighting that until I then had a bit of a turnaround in August, when certain personal changes happened in my private life, which have kept me very busy. In addition to all that, I have been very busy writing! As you know, my trilogy ‘Monday is Washing Day’ was finished when the third volume ‘Book Three: Kathryn – Control and Release’ was published. Since then however, I have finished a new book – ‘Secrets and Loves’ which is a stand alone book, but also is kind of a sequel to the trilogy, since Kathryn, the main character of Book Three, also appears in this book. It is currently in the editing stage, and then there is the design of the book to sort out, but I’m hoping to be ready for publication in the early part of 2024.

Also, on the book front, I am happy to announce another book which will be forthcoming in the New Year, under my Cyclamen Press imprint, called ‘The Pleasure Principle’ by a new and unknown writer call Ashleigh Thezebu. This is Ashleigh’s debut novel, and is of quite a different genre to the usual offerings by Cyclamen Press, in that it is an erotic novel, and sexually explicit, and so will available only to Adults over the age of 18. Although the subject matter might not suit everyone, we think it might appeal to the kind of audience who enjoyed ‘Fifty Shades’, so if you’re one of those, please keep your eyes peeled for more news about when it will be published. I will be sure to keep you posted on this website, since Ashleigh prefers to remain anonymous for the time being for obvious reasons.

Should you have any questions, or require any further information about anything on this site, please do get in touch. My contact details are on the ‘Contact and Links’ page. I look forward, as always, to hearing from you.

In the meantime, I would like to wish each and every one of my Readers a Very Merry Christmas, and a Happy and Prosperous New Year. Here’s hoping that 2024 is a much better year for everyone and that the current political strife and unrest in the World is resolved to the benefit of all who are involved, both at home and abroad.

Very best wishes

Hello! I'm Liz, a writer from Sowerby Bridge, West Yorkshire. I've lived here for nearly 20 years, although I'm originally from t'other side o't hill as they say around here. I'm from Barrow in Furness, which was in Lancashire when I was born - still, whether it's Lancashire or Cumbria, it still makes me a Northern Lass. That means I'm honest, straightforward and feisty. My current book is (very) loosely based on my family history, though the names have been changed to protect the innocent (and the guilty!) I'm hoping to publish in April 2022, or possibly earlier. Watch this space!
